Thanks, girls! The fabric is from a vintage tablecloth. It had fringe all around the edge. It's a heavy sort of cut velvet upholstery fabric.
Hard to think of such a heavy fabric as a tablecloth. Great purse and I love that you used the fringe. Tucson Patty
