great bags! and the necktie skirt girls are adorable. i just finished my first tote bag yesterday; it's not perfect, but it's given me enough encouragement to get back to finishing my skirt. oh -- and the rooster on the skirt is a wonderful touch.
hey! thanks for the tip, i've seen that used for applique in quilting. i'm going to try it tonight. i had tried so many things & was getting super frustrated until i spotted the giant roll of tracing paper lurking in the corner, but i bet this'll be even easier...
